Garuba Sunday Michael
Garuba Sunday Michael is a graduate of Agriculture from the University of Abuja, with a specialization in Animal Science. He currently serves as the Food Rescue & Program Manager at No Hunger Food Bank (No Hunger Initiative), where he leads efforts to recover and strengthening food security within underserved communities. In this capacity, he coordinates program logistics, manages relationships with partners and volunteers, and monitors program performance to ensure measurable, sustained impact.
Beyond his work at No Hunger Food Bank, Sunday likes rabbit-farming , applying his academic training in animal nutrition and livestock management to practical agribusiness operations. This combination of food systems management, livestock production, and community focused program delivery gives him a well rounded, hands on understanding of agriculture across the value chain, from farm to table.
Sunday's areas of focus include food security, food rescue and redistribution, livestock and animal production, program and operations management, and community development. He is committed to leveraging this expertise to support organizations and communities in building more resilient and sustainable food systems.
