Support a Girl Child Back to School

With an estimated 18.3 million children out of school, the highest number in the world, Nigeria is experiencing a silent emergency. This indicates that approximately one in five Nigerian children who are not in school worldwide reside in the North, where poverty, insecurity, and cultural barriers are most prevalent. This is a generation of kids losing the opportunity to read, dream, and create a better future, it's more than just a statistic.

We at No Hunger Food Bank won't accept this as the norm. Every child, especially girls, should have a seat in the classroom, a full stomach, and an equal opportunity to succeed, in our opinion. For this reason, we are supporting programs like ``Support A Girl Child Back To School,`` which assist in removing the real-world obstacles that prevent kids especially girls from attending school.

  • We provide scholarships, supplies, and nutrition support to empower young women.
  • We provide comprehensive support to help girls from disadvantaged backgrounds return to school and stay enrolled.
  • Empowering girls to return to school, continue their education, and ultimately, build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Investing in girls' education is key to breaking the hunger cycle

The NHFB's program aims to address this issue by providing comprehensive support to help girls from disadvantaged backgrounds return to school and stay enrolled. By drawing on the example of the Chibok girls and the ongoing struggles faced by many young women in accessing education, the NHFB's ``Support a Girl Child Back to School`` program demonstrates a profound understanding of the challenges these girls face. Through its multifaceted approach, the initiative makes a tangible difference in the lives of displaced girls at Durumi, Abuja, Nigeria , empowering them to return to school, continue their education, and ultimately, build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.

Investing in girls' education is key to breaking the hunger cycle. NoHungerFoodBank's 'Support A Girl Child' program provides scholarships, supplies, and nutrition support to empower young women. An educated girl can earn, feed her family, and uplift her whole community. Join us in cultivating the next generation of hunger crusaders!
